i have recently moved to a three bedroom home…the gas and electric r on pre-payment meters..i am with n power and they are costing me a fortune to have them changed to pay monthly or direct debit etc…i will get charged and cnt really afford it at the moment
is any1 else using them? how much are you putting on weekly and what amount of usage are you getting for your money? best suppliers?
DON’T PAY FOR A METER EXCHANGE!!!
Tell Npower that you will change suppliers if they don’t do it for free. If they don’t agree, call EDF Energy on 0800 0969000 who will take your supply over and do the exchange (gas and elec) completely free of charge.
In the meantime, have you rang Npower to see if there is any debt on the meter from the previous occupant? That could be the reason it’s costing you a fortune…
