Never really thought about this untill now. Ive currently got a gas kettle but thinking of buying a cheap electric kettle for speed. Usually make a cup every 2/3 hours. Just wondering which would work out cheaper?

don’t buy CHEAP because it will be expensive in the short run already, the kettle will burn out, or the thin plastic will deform and definitely for the cheap kettles you will not get a new heating unit..
buy a small kettle that heats up only one or two cups or maximum a liter of water, Bosch, Moulinex have things like that.
very convenient and quick also. and because you heat up only the amount of water that you need, it is also economic.
