Known for wearing an accentuated top hat (earning himself the nickname &#8220;The cat in the Hat&#8221;), he is regarded by some as one of the greatest guitarists of all time.</p>

<p>In the June edition of Total Guitar, he dismisses talk of signing a deal with B.C. Rich guitars. He says that he uses them solely because of the tremolo arm and he uses his Gibsons 70% of the time. He gets sent a new one every 15 years.</p>
